Dr. Jessica Unterkofler has been practicing at Wiregrass Dental for over 8 years. She and her husband both were raised in Wicksburg, AL. She graduated highschool from Providence Christian School and afterward attended the University of South Alabama. While there, she co-authored and published multiple articles within the USA School of Medicine and completed her thesis in Lung Biology and Respiratory Medicines. She also founded the Alabama Student Rural Health Association to create awareness and outreach for underserved rural areas. This association grew in later years to reach several major college campuses across the state including the University of Alabama, Auburn University, and Troy University. She received her dental education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. At UAB, she received the Third District Dental Society scholarship to represent Houston, Dale, Geneva, Coffee, and Barbour counties. While at UAB, she worked on several research projects with the President of the International Association for Dental Research and was selected to travel to Washington to present research nationally to benefit rare dental disorders in pediatric dentistry. She also spent time serving on mission trips to Honduras and Trinidad & Tobago.
In 2016, she graduated from UAB’s School of Dentistry, married her highschool sweetheart, moved back to her hometown, and joined Wiregrass Dental. Since becoming a dentist, Dr. Jessica has continually chosen Continuing Education pathways that exceed requirements. She truly enjoys learning and has completed multiple courses at Spear Education–Phoenix, Misch Implant Institute-Orlando, Resnik CBCT Boot Camp-Orlando, The Pankey Institute–Atlanta, DS World Digital Training-Las Vegas, and DS World Digital Training-Orlando. Her favored dental studies and cases have gravitated towards deep understandings of occlusion and full mouth restoration, digital dentistry, CBCT radiography, sleep apnea, implant prosthetics and full mouth prosthetics, and TMJ disorders. Her goal is to be equipped in a well-rounded fashion to be able to treat even the smallest of oral problems with the entire mouth and TM Joint in mind. Since leading Wiregrass Dental, she has continued to keep the office up to date with the latest CAD/CAM technologies, CBCT radiography, and most recently same-day Zirconia crowns. Dr. Jessica views the field of dentistry as an honored profession that coalesces science, art, and personal relationships. One of her favorite quotes is by Mark Twain–”Work and Play are words used to describe the same thing under different circumstances.”
Dr. Jessica spends all of her spare time with her 3 young children and husband, Jonathan. They are active in the same local church where she has been a member since childhood. These days she mostly enjoys playing, crafting, and traveling with her kids. Other things she enjoys are reading historical novels, playing piano, indoor and outdoor cycling, southern gospel music, painting, cooking, and gardening.

Dr. Daniel McCullough is an Enterprise High School graduate. He received his B.S. in Biomedical Sciences from Troy University and afterward attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he received his DMD. After graduating from dental school, Dr. McCullough and his wife, Cadie, moved to metro Detroit, where he practiced for 3 years. In July 2018, Dr. McCullough and his family moved back to his hometown and joined our team at Wiregrass Dental. Dr. McCullough and his wife are followers of Jesus, and have three beautiful children: Maelynn, Maggie, and Mason.
